JAMMU, Oct 13: In view of the forth coming Deepawali, the festival of lights, Diya and Card making contests were organized at Vishwa Bharti Higher Secondary School, Udheywala, Jammu.
The enthusiastic students actively participated in the contest and exhibited their talent by making beautiful cards as well as Diyas conveying the greetings on the occasion of Diwali.
The objective of the contest was to inculcate creative expression among the students to enable them to face the challenges ahead.
In Diya making contest, Bhodmi Raina of class 4th A, Sukhpreet Singh of 4th B, Diljit Singh of Class 5th A and Hershulla Ganjoo of Class 5th B bagged 1st position.
In Card making contest, Manat of Class 1st A, Vanshika    of 1st B, Shriya Bhat of Class 2nd, Sanchit of Class 3rd, Sumridhi of 6th A, Mehak Dhar of 6th B, Taniya Sharma of 7th A and Harshita Raina of 7th B claimed 1st position.
