Vivrant slams cracking ton against Haryana

JAMMU, Dec 31: Southpaw Vivrant Sharma, skipper of J&K Under-23 team scored a cracking unbeaten century (104*) in a drawn match against Haryana in the ongoing CK Nayudu Under-23 Trophy at Panchukula, near Chandigarh.
Vivrant scored the magnificent century with the help of 15 fours and one six in J&K’s second innings total of 214/3 in 46 overs. Opener Nipun Verma also played a brilliant innings of 73 runs off 123 balls with the help of 6 fours and one six. Lone Nasir Muzzafar was the star performer for J&K, who after scoring superb 93 runs, took 6 important wickets of the rival team.
Earlier, J&K scored 249 runs in the first innings, while Haryana in reply scored 280 runs in their first essay. Jammu and Kashmir were going great guns in their second essay at stumps on 4th and final day of the match.
