JAMMU, Mar 29: Members of All Jammu and Kashmir Village Level Workers Association has decided to contribute two-day salary towards JK Relief Fund for fight against COVID-19.
Decision in this regard was taken by the Association after telephonic consultation with its representatives and basic members, who unanimously endorsed the resolution. These VLWs of the Rural Development Department also include those who are serving as In-charge Inspectors and I/C BDOs.
The Association has appealed the Lt Governor to direct all DDO of Rural Development Department to deduct the said amount from the salary bills for the month of either March or April 2020 and remit the same to the Relief fund account.
