JAMMU, June 18: The State level volleyball championship of Under 17 girls which was organized by State Department of Youth Services & Sports concluded here today.
The final of the tournament was played between the District teams of Budgam and Samba. The team mates of Samba showed an outstanding combination of skill and intelligence on the ground defeated opponents by 3/0.
Director General of the Department of Youth Services & Sports Naveen Agarwal(IPS) after witnessing the final thrill of the tournament, distributed prizes among the winner and runner-up teams.
Niteshi Saini of Samba District team was awarded for being an outstanding player in the tournament.
Besides others, District Youth Services & Sports Officer Budgam and lovers of volleyball game were present on the occasion.
