KATHUA, June 23: A Volleyball tournament organised by Outlaw Sports Club in Lowang Village of district Kathua concluded here today.
A total 12 teams participated in the tournament and the final match was played between Lowang and Bharmota which was won by Lowang. The players delivered highly inspiring performances, captivating the spectators.
The winning team was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 9000 and the runner-up team was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 6000 along with trophies. Gouri Shanker was chief guest and other prominent citizens were Touheed Malik, Utam Chand, Dr Rameshwer Singh, Atta Mohd, Mohd Rafiq Butt and others who were also present on the occasion.
