UDHAMPUR, Feb 12: Udhampur Volleyball Club and City Volleyball Club scripted wins in the semi-final matches of the ongoing Volleyball Championship by defeating Govt Model HSSS and Govt HSS Barta by 2-0 (25-16, 25-11) and 2-0 (25-9, 25-12) sets respectively, being played at Govt Model Higher Secondary School Boys Udhampur, here today.
Ashok Kumar (Deputy Director Retired and former Director Sports SMVDU ) who himself is a legend National player of Volleyball and qualified Volleyball Coach from National Institute of Sports Patiala was the chief guest on the occasion. He distributed the refreshment among the players. Poonam Sharma (ZEPO Jib) and Ajay Sharma (PEM) was the special guest of the event.
The matches were played under the technical supervision of Haim Raj (Phy Education Lecturer) and Amit Sharma (PET), whereas the matches were officiated by the technical panel of Sanjay Sharma (PEM), Manik Nargotra (PEM), Sanjeev Verma (PET) and Kuldeep Sharma (PEM).
