UDHAMPUR, Feb 9: Udhampur Police today kick started the Volleyball and Handball Tournament at Town Hall, Mini Stadium Udhampur and Kho-Kho and Kabddi Tournament at District Police Lines Udhampur.
The Tournament is being organized as part of the Sports Fest Udhampur Olympics which was inaugurated by Shailendra Mishra, SSP Udhampur and Mohan Lal Kaith, Additional SP Udhampur at different venues.
About 74 qualifier matches of boys and girls in under in different categories in different games were played toady and more than 1100 players participated in different events today.
The matches were witnessed by number of Police and district administration officers, players and prominent citizens of Udhampur town. The matches were officiated by the officials of department of Youth Services and Sports.
