POONCH, Oct 19: The Shaheed DySP Manjit Singh Memorial Volleyball Club hosted a special Volleyball match to honour the sacrifice of police martyrs at the College Ground in Poonch.
Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal was the chief guest and distributed sports kits and Volleyballs to the young athletes of the club while paying tribute to the martyrs.
In his address, Kundal emphasized the importance of sports and physical activities for promoting a healthy lifestyle, team spirit, and personal development. He applauded the efforts of Chairman Mohammad Tariq and encouraged local youth to engage in sports, highlighting the achievements of Saqlain Tariq, an international volleyball player from the district.
The event was attended by ADC Mustafa Malik, DySP Ejaz Ahmad, and senior Volleyball players, including Krishan Lal Sharma and Davinder Singh, who contributed to the successful organization of the match.
