RAMBAN, Oct 22: Commandant of 16th Battalion IRP, Amit Gupta inaugurated three days Volleyball tournament at APC Pernote, here today.
The tournament is being organised by IRP 16th Battalion in collaboration of Youth Association Pernote wherein eight teams of district Ramban are participating.
The inaugural function was attended by SP, Jeevan Kumar, SP, Rayaz Iqbal Tantray and DySP IRP 16th Battalion, Anu Sharma along with prominent citizens of Pernote including Sarpanches and Panches.
The Commandant interacted with players and highlighted the sports benefit with them. He advised the players to show true sportsmanship while playing the game and follow the guidelines issued by Government during the tournament.
