POONCH, Aug 12: A Volleyball tournament was held at the Government Girls Higher Secondary School Mandi, Poonch, organized by the J&K Sports Council under the “My Youth, My Pride” initiative.
The tournament featured four boys’ teams and three girls’ teams, showcasing local talent. Anju Rishi, Principal of the school and Vice Principal served as chief guest and guest of honour, respectively. The event, which attracted around 400 participants and spectators, successfully promoted sportsmanship and enthusiasm among the youth.
Participants were provided refreshments by the J&K Sports Council. The event was managed by Nirdosh Kumar Sharma, Mushtaq Ahmed, Ram Parkash, and other sports coaches, contributing to its smooth execution.
