Vriddhi Royals drubs TCC Jodhamal by 36 runs

JAMMU, Oct 18: Vriddhi Royals defeated TCC Jodhamal in the ongoing Under-16 Cricket Tournament, being organised by Col RN Chopra Cricket Academy, here.
Earlier, wining the toss and electing to bat first, Vriddhi Royals scored166 runs in 30 overs. Varun top scored with 38 runs, while Shavac contributed 33 runs to the total. Abhay and Aditya chipped in with 13 runs each. For TCC, Shreya Mahajan took 5 wickets, while Sushant and Jatin claimed 1 wicket each.
In reply, TCC managed to score 130 runs to lose the match by 36 runs. Shivansh top scored with 35 runs, while Jatin contributed 27 runs to the total. For Vriddhi Royals, Shivam, Shavac, Abhay and Sahil claimed 2 wickets each. Shavac was adjudged as the man of the match for his all-round performance.
The tournament is being organised by Col R N Chopra Cricket Academy under the supervision of Sukomal Ganguly.
