LEH, Mar 20: Chairman LAHDC, Leh Gyal P. Wangyal today called on Ladakh Lieutenant Governor, R.K Mathur in the wake of recent measures taken by the UT administration in Leh district for containing the pandemic of COVID-19.
Both discussed the present situation in the district and required measures needed to be taken in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Wangyal in a message to the public of Leh urged to follow the advice of Central Government and UT administration regarding COVID-19 prevention measures.
He also requested the public to observe Janata Curfew as desired by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on Sunday from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm and hailed the frontline services like Medical, Police, Essential Service, Media etc involved in fight against COVID-19.
