JAMMU, Oct 30: Minister for Road and Building, Abdul Majid Wani today called upon the State youth to go for entrepreneurship to contribute in the State’s economy and earn a dignified livelihood.
Be employers instead of employees by establishing private enterprises, the Minister asked the youth while advising them not to hanker after Government jobs.
Addressing a gathering after inaugurating a Motorbike showroom at Gangyal, Mr. Wani said the Government has launched various schemes through institutions like JKEDI offering prospective entrepreneurs monetary assistance besides other logistic support for setting up of their enterprises. He said that by developing their own business the youth would also contribute in socio-economic upliftment of their respective areas.
