Warm send off accorded to retirees

JAMMU, Oct 31: SKUAST-Teaching Association Jammu (SKUAST-TAJ) accorded an emotive/warm farewell to Dr Bimal Singh Jamwal (Professor cum Chief Scientist (PBG) and Incharge Pulse Rese-arch Sub-Station, Samba) on his superannuation after rendering distinguished services of 41 years. Director Research SKUAST-Jammu Dr JP Sharma and president, Teaching Association, Dr Vikas Sharma wished the retiree a prosperous life after retirement.
An impressive function was hosted by JKAP-7th Battalion in APC Channi Himmat Jammu on upon the superannuation of Muhammad Farid (SSP) Commandant JKAP-7th Batta-lion, Head Constable Soam Dutt and Follower Joginder Lal of the unit. About 300 officers/other ranks besides family members of retirees attended the function. Danish Rana, IGP Armed Jammu Zone presided over the function. He lauded the services rendered by the commandant and the other two officials, and wished them good luck for their future life.
A very warm and affectionate send off was accorded to Sanjeev Kumar Kotwal, Research Assistant (Apiculture), Jammu in an impressive function organized here at Kri-shi Bhawan today. Sanjeev Kotwal has retired after putting in more than 33 years dedicated services in the Department of Agriculture. Director Agriculture, PS Rathore appreciated the sincere services rendered by Kotwal in the department and wished him happy and healthy retired life.
Warm wishes for a happy and prosperous life were also extended to retiring officers and staff of the department from other districts as well namely Rashpal Singh (JAEO Doda), Rajinder Singh Charak (JAEO RS Pura), Bashir Ahmad (Field Assistant CAO Poonch) and Dev Raj (PPS, SDAO, Ramnagar). In another function organized at Chief Agriculture Office, Ja-mmu, warm wishes were extended to retirees inc-luding SK Langer, Ar-ea Devel-opment Officer (Vegetable), Jammu, Surinder Hak, AEO, CAO, Jammu and Surjeet Kaur, Section Officer, CAO, Jammu.
The JCC Bank Officers Association bade warm farewell to its president, Mohinder Nath Sharma, Manager 1, who contributed 35 years of service in the Bank. General Secretary of the Association, speaking on the occasion, briefed about the services of Mohinder Nath Sharma at different branches in the Bank since his appointment. All Association members wished the retiree a happy, healthy and prosperous retired life.
In a simple function, Non-Gazetted J&K Accounts Employees’ Association gave a warm send off to Kamal Sharma, Accountant (posted at Saddar Treasuries Town Hall, Jammu) who retired today after contributing 24 years of service in the Accounts Cadre. President of the Association, Kulwant Singh Sambyal and other members wished the retiree a happy and prosperous retired life.
