JAMMU, Nov 5: Defeating their rivals convincingly in the pre-quarterfinal battles, Wasim Iqbal, Abhishek Pathania and Mudassar Ashiq entered into the quarterfinals of the ongoing State Senior Snooker Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here.
In the matches played today, Wasim Iqbal defeated Rahil Bhat (3-2) by 21-63, 72-21, 58-19; Abhishek Pathania thrashed Abid Bhat (4-2) by 62-63, 60-17, 20-76, 52-43, 64-34, 56-08; Wasim Iqbal also trounced Nitin Sharma (4-1), while Mudassar Ashiq drubbed Sourav Dogra (4-2) by 59-32, 61-29, 46-57, 53-54, 54-26 and 50-99.
