JAMMU, Aug 29: Water supply to several areas in Jammu West shall remain affected for a week from tomorrow.
Janipur, New Plot, Rehari , Sarwal and Patoli areas will get alternate day water supply for another one week with effect from tomorrow i.e August 30th 2020.
Urging people to use water judiciously during these days, a press release, issued today by Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti, PHE City Division Number 1, Jammu, said: “Due to ongoing rains and high turbidity of water in river Tawi, the pumping of water from Sitlee to Lohar has got affected and as a result of which, these area will get alternate day water supply for a week.
