SRINAGAR, July 7: Jammu and Kashmir Golf Association organized a tamaltious Golf Tournament at the Kashmir Golf Club here today.
Golfers from all over the State participated in the tournament.
S S Wazir vice president JKGA teed off the Tournament in presence of all the participants. Lot of enthusiasm was seen among the golfers.
Shailendra Kumar Divisional Commissioner Kashmir was the chief guest at the prize distribution function.
Welcoming the chief guest and the participant, Raja Ajaz President JKGA dwealt on the objective of the association for furtherance of the game in the state.
He said the State is blessed with four international standard Golf Coures and the Hertage, Worlds 3rd Golf Course KGC, as such, qualifies to be the Golfing destination of the Country.
The JKGA in its infancy itself has already organized various programmers for promotion of game.
