JAMMU, July 13: Chairperson J&K Waqf Board Dr Darakhshan Andrabi today addressed a mega public rally of Bharatiya Janata Party at Langate in North Kashmir which was attended by a huge gathering from the area.
Local BJP leader and vice president of Langate Municipal Committee Jameel Ahmad Rather was also present. Dr Andrabi was accorded a rousing welcome by the people when she reached the Langate Park at the site of the rally.
Welcoming Andrabi, Jameel Rather in his speech said that she was the first leader in the contemporary political scenario of Kashmir who unconditionally resolves issues of the public without any discrimination.
In her address BJP National Executive Member and Waqf Board Chairperson said that after the implementation of Prime Minister’s vision for J&K three years ago, peace, prosperity and development have become the key issues of our government. “Whole world has recognised the constitutional changes in J&K, but political exploiters are feeling acute pain and as a result they roam around making senseless statements.
Andrabi said new changed J&K is in the process of peace, development and prosperity. She said that she had succeeded in fulfilling the public demands submitted to her by the local leadership a few months ago.
She spoke about her fulfilled promises of establishment of a Fire & Emergency Services facility, bridge construction and her successful efforts for Degree College at Handwara. “Our politics is always the public service with honesty and we are committed to serve the people with utmost transparently. People have started actively associating themselves with the developmental and welfare programmes of the government and with the cooperation of all. BJP is slowly encroaching upon the false political domains of the dynasts”, said Andrabi.
She assured people about her services to the common man. Dr Andrabi later chaired a meeting of the representatives of the government departments and discussed public related issues with them and stressed upon the need to resolve the genuine issues of the public on priority basis.
