JAMMU, Apr 30: Welfare Committee Anuradhapuram Sector 2, Barnai in a meeting today held under the chairmanship of Sita Ram Sharma discussed various problems of the Colony.
As per a release, the meeting in an appeal to the concerned officers urged them to redress the problems of the people.
The meeting alleged that Sector 2 is facing acute shortage of water as the present pipe which supplies water to the area is of less diameter and it can’t cater to the needs of the people.
The meeting demanded replacement of damaged street lights and installation of new streetlights at vulnerable places. It said that the two electric poles are badly damaged and can fell down at any time which may cause major damage.
The meeting also demanded removal of encroachment from entry lane of the Colony.
