This has reference to the news item ‘Heavy Rocket Carrying Communication Satellite launched’ DE June 6.
The launch of GSLV MkIII-Di rocket into orbit by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is a big leap for Indian Space agency. The launch is a testimony of India’s growing power in space technology. It also reaffirms our resolve to meet our requirements indigenously and reduce our dependance on foreign powers.
The successful launch of GSVL also demonstrates the commitment, and capability of our scientists and engineers. They deserve all appreciation for taking this country to great heights. India does not believe in misusing technology for achieving ulterior motives. Indian technology is for betterment of mankind. Recently India gifted a Satellite to SAARC countries. They can use it for a number of objectives. The coverage of the launch has been euphoric and often colourful with website comparing the rocket to the weight of 200 elephants or five jumbo jets such campaign highlight the importance of the launch for the country. India salutes the ISRO team for its success.
