Poonch is still reeling under chronic power shortage despite assurance doled out by the PDD time and again. The 133 KV transmission line has not been yet restored despite deadline passing sometime back. Two weeks ago the power minister visited the town and assured the people that the 133 kv will function from April 21, but its still not there. Now the summer is on and heat is creeping in, only five hours electricity is not enough, so we the people of poonch apeal to the concerned department to restore the original line at the earliest
