SAMBA, Aug 27: Sahil, Chiku and Rajan of Wild 11 helped to register a thrilling victory over Legal Stars in the final match of the tri-series played at Shubham Khajuria stadium, Samba.
Earlier, Wild 11 Captain Abhishek Gupta won the toss and decided to bat first. Wild 11 scored 148 runs in the limited 20 overs. Sahil (29runs) was the top scorer whereas Gosha and Deepak Rana scored 28 and 25 runs respectively. From the bowling side Naveed took 4 wickets, while Irfan, Sahil,Tariz took 2 wickets each.
In reply Legal Stars openers had a great start but Sahil produced a sensational spell and clinched 3 crucial wickets to pull Wild 11 into the contest. Bar Association President Sr. Adv. Vikram Sharma, Vice President Amit Gupta, Secretary Parvez Salaria and cashier Utkarsh Pathania were present on this occasion.
For Wild 11; Chiku and Gulshan took 2 wickets while Rakshit and Rajan both took 1 wicket. For Legal Star, Azhar Usman (42 runs) was the top scorer while Zeeshan Rana(27 runs) and Taraiz khan (21 runs) helped Legal stars to reach 147 runs. Later, Wild 11 Sahil was declared a Man of the Match.
