JAMMU, Feb 5: Shaurya International School organized ‘The Winter Carnival Festival-2023’ in the School premises with the aim of celebrating the winter season and giving a platform to talent of students of Kindergarten wing.
School Chairman, Harinder Mahajan and Vice-Chairman Sahil Mahajan graced the occasion, while Chairman of Stepping Stones School, Vikash Sharma and Principal of Stepping Stones School, Anjali Sharma were invited as special guests during the occasion.
The programme commenced with lighting of ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries, wherein different schools like- Roots Montessori, Golden Roots, Shemrock, Stepping Stone, Foster Kids, Growing Tree, Little Millenium participated in the event.
The toddlers from all the schools enthusiastically participated in various activities like fashion show, coloring, dance, games etc which gave them an opportunity to celebrate winters in their style.
A trophy and excellence certificate was awarded to the children who secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in fashion show and coloring competition. Not only students, the accompanying parents also had a go at various special attractions that included- games, dance floor, assorted food counter, shopping zone and lucky draw.
The Chairman Shaurya International School praised the effort of celebrating winters and asserted that only through such imaginative activities can kids learn the most and best equip themselves for the future.
Vice Chairman Sahil Mahajan emphasized that such an occasion also allows parents a chance to interact with one another informally and creates a setting for an enjoyable family outing.
The carnival is a form of energetic co-curricular activity for the students to refresh their thoughts from being constrained in their academic activities, Principal Dr. Rajesh Gandral stated while sharing his views with the audience.
