JAMMU, Feb 15: The Border Security Force (BSF) today seized a wireless set from the International Border (IB) in Londi area of Hiranagar sector in Kathua district after it was spotted by the local farmers.
“The wireless set resembled to the one that was seized by police from near the border in Kathua few days after the terror attack on Nagrota Army camp on November 30,2016,’’ official sources said but added that exact details in this regard are being gathered.
Sources said a civilian Ashwani Kumar son of Jagdish Lal of Londi was spraying his field when he spotted the wireless set and informed the BSF officials, who rushed to the spot and seized the set.
The BSF was examining the set, which hasn’t been handed over to police set.
The first wireless set seized from Kathua in December was handed over by the police to the National Investigating Agency (NIA), which was investigating Nagrota terror attack.
