JAMMU, Nov 1: A woman today sustained serious burn injuries in a mysterious fire at her residence in Khour area of Akhnoor.
A police official said that the woman identified as Bimla Devi (50), wife of Ajeet Singh, resident of Gurha Brahmana (Pargwal) received about 80% burn injuries in a mysterious fire at her residence.
He said the woman was immediately shifted by the family members to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where her condition was stated to be critical when the last reports came in.
Khour police had taken cognizance of the matter.
