DODA, June 8: A woman died after she fell into a deep gorge in Kota forest area in tehsil Gandoh, while her daughter received injuries, while saving her.
As per police sources, Shareefa Begum (40), wife of Abdul Rehman, a resident of Soti Gandoh along with her daughter Rabina Kousar (17) had gone to get some fodder for their cattle, when Shareefa Begum slipped and fell into a deep gorge. In a bid to save her mother, Rabina also received injuries.
After getting information, police team from Gandoh police station rushed to the spot and retrieved the body of the woman and shifted the injured girl to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Gandoh, where she was undergoing treatment, when reports last came in.
Gandoh police has taken cognizance in this regard.
