JAMMU, Jan 3: A woman died under mysterious circumstances in Gujjar Nagar area here.
As per police sources, a woman namely Masooda Bano (54), wife of Khushal Ahmed of Gujjar Nagar was found unconscious under mysterious circumstances at her residence.
She was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors pronounced her as brought dead.
After conducting post-mortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC have been initiated by Peer Mitha Police in this regard.
