JAMMU, Apr 3: Police today arrested a woman and recovered 10 litres of illicit liquor and also destroyed 150 litres of lahan.
Police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Bishnah police station conducted a raid at village Chak Mural and arrested a woman along with 10 litres of illicit liquor. He added that 150 litres of lahan was also destroyed.
The woman identified as Rani Devi, wife of Kamal Dass of Chak Mural, Bishnah has been arrested, while a case has been registered against her at Bishnah police station and investigation started.
Police party led by SHO Deepak Pathania made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Diwakar Singh.
