JAMMU, Sept 14: A woman was allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped by three persons in Nikowal area of bordering RS Pura today.
As per police sources, a woman hailing from Miran Sahib had gone to a shop at RS Pura to get her mobile repaired, when two men allegedly kidnapped her on bike.
The persons took the woman to a field in Nikowal area of Arnia, where they were joined by a third person and all of them gang-raped the woman.
The victim reportedly was left outside the RS Pura hospital by the accused after the crime.
The woman was unconscious and the absconding accused can be arrested only after she identifies them.
A case under Section 366 and 376 RPC has been registered at RS Pura police station and manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
However, no arrest was made till last reports were compiled.
