UDHAMPUR, Apr 21: A woman was killed today while her husband received serious injuries in a road mishap at Bharnara in Majalta area.
According to the police report, a speeding Alto car bearing registration number JK02AN-6848 collided with a stationary truck (registration number PB10FB-2278) at Bharnara, Majalta. In the mishap, a couple identified as Radhika and her husband, Sheshpal of Talab Tillo, received serious injuries.
Police and locals rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Majalta where doctors declared the woman as brought dead while the injured man was referred to GMC Jammu.
The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
