KATHUA, Feb 17: A young woman was crushed to death in a tragic road accident took place on busy college road here today. The deceased was identified as Vijay Kumari, 35, wife of Dev Raj resident of Indira Colony, Kathua .
As per reports she was crushed to death by Bus No JK02AJ 3535 when she fell down of the same bus accidently on the road and rear tyre of bus crushed her to death on spot . The bus was seized by police and body of woman was shifted to GMC Kathua for postmortem. The local people while expressing their anger said that the college road is very busy due to heavy traffic and illegal parking of vehicles on it as many eating points are functioning in this lane .
There is no parking point on college road and customers park their vehicles on the road caused congestion and accidents. Kathua police registered a case and start investigation into the matter.
