Srinagar, May 11: Police today said a lady was killed while three others were injured in two separate road accidents in Baramulla and Anantnag districts.
A police spokesman said a Tata 407 load carrier bearing registration number JK01J-8415 hit and injured three pedestrians identified as Yasmeena, Naza Begum and Sakeena Bano at Roypora in Pattan area of Baramulla district.
“The injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Pattan for treatment where Sakeena Bano succumbed to her injuries. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
The spokesman said a Santro car bearing registration number DL- 2CW-0284 hit and injured a 5 year-old girl namely Bisma Jan at Bun Nambal in Mattan area of Ananatnag district. “The injured was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
