JAMMU, Sept 10: A woman succumbed to her burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital.
According to a police spokesperson, the woman identified as Kushila Bai (40) wife of Raju Nirala, resident of Chattisgarh, at present living in Belicharamna area of city outskirts, was shifted here at GMCH on September 7 after she suffered about 60% burn injuries at her present residence in stove blast.
“However, the woman succumbed to her injuries today at about 2.10 pm. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites”, the spokesman said, adding, the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
