JAMMU, Nov 19: A woman hailing from Doda today succumbed to her assault injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police spokesperson, the woman identified as Zahida Begum (24) wife of Farooq Ahmed, a resident of Marmat in Doda district, was shifted to GMCH yesterday following a physical attack on her in which she received serious injuries.
“Today at about 8.20 pm, the injured woman succumbed to her injuries here at GMCH”, he said adding the body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for conducting postmortem tomorrow.
