SRINAGAR, Sept 1: Defeating Green Valley Educational Institute by three goals to nil (3-0) in the semifinal, Women’s College MA Road sealed berth in the finals of the Women’s Football Tournament, being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association, here.
Now, Women’s College team will take on Mallinson Girls in the summit clash as the latter has already sailed into the finals.
After the goalless first half, Bushra of Women’s College netted the first goal, which were followed by back to back 2 goals by Irtika of the same team to help Women’s College register a (3-0) win and enter the finals.
The players of Green Valley Educational Institute despite getting many chances failed to convert them into goals.
