Won’t allow NIA to ‘intimidate’ Kashmiris: Omar

KUPWARA: Asserting that the Lok Sabha elections are significant as it will decide the future course of action vis-a vis Article 370 and Article 35 A, National Conference (NC) vice- president Omar Abdullah on Thursday said ,”if voted to power his party will ensure the protection special status of the state and will stop NIA from intimidating innocent Kashmiris.”

“The forthcoming elections will be significant because it will decide the recourse of our state vis-a-vis development, youth employment and other issues that our state is facing. The very special character of our state is the overt and covert threats that it is facing. These elections provide us with a good opportunity to send resourceful and capable people to country’s highest House as they can forcefully work for preserving state’s special status,” he said.
