JAMMU, Feb 5: Corporator of Ward Number 50, Neena Gupta along with Raj Kumar, Corporator of Ward Number 51, kick-started work of laying down of water pipes (by PHE Department) in Sector 3, Channi Kamala.
The work was completed in the presence of officers/officials of PHE Department as well as local inhabitants.The work will be completed with an estimated cost of Rs 6 lakh. With the completion of this work, long pending demand of the residents of this locality will be fulfilled, thus solving the water shortage problem of the area.
On the occasion, inhabitants of the area also apprised the Corporators of other issues. The Corporators assured the people that all pending works regarding lanes, drains, street lights and blacktopping of roads will be completed shortly.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Balwan Singh, Pawan Dhunna, Trishula Gupta, Poonam Gupta, Raju, Satish, Jagdish Raj, Mirza and Jeevan.
