Kavinder Gupta, while taking stock of ongoing development projects and power infrastructure, stressed for cooperation from people for judicious use of electricity in their homes and commercial establishments. He said that many projects which are still pending for the approval in the concerned departments will be taken up for their execution after Government agencies start the execution as the major works have been stalled amid COVID-19.
“I will keep working for the constituency whether in chair or not”, Kavinder said and added that service of people is my sole mission and I won’t rest in fulfilling my promise towards the people and my doors are always open for the people in case of any problem or emergency.
Kavinder Gupta, while distributing free medicines after inaugurating a medical camp in the area, said that as there is no effective medicine for Covid-19, the people should take preventive measures and take such items which boost the immunity of the body and keeps one safe from the infection.
Kavinder expressed gratitude to Dr. Suresh Sharma, Director, Indian System of Medicine and his team for organizing such a medical camp for the benefit of the people and said that the medicines provided by them are free from side effects and need to be preferred over the allopathic ones. He said that now all citizens of the Chatha Pind are formally covered by the free Drug policy of the Central Government, under which all Government health facilities provide essential medicines free of cost to patients, based on prescriptions by Government doctors. They usually provide generic medicines, unless a branded medicine is the only option available in a particular category.
BJP leaders Pitamber Sharma, Narinder Koki, district secretary and prominent BJP activists also accompanied them.
