JAMMU, Aug 28: The Department of Computer Sciences, Government SPMR College of Commerce, Jammu inaugurated 10-days workshop on “Personality Development and Communication Skills Enhancement” which began in the College premises for the students of BCA/BBA, today.
The main aim of the workshop is to enhance Communication Skills and to groom their personality to help them in their placements in different jobs. In the workshop, students will be imparted training in self awareness activities, goal setting, positive attitude, self confidence and moral values.
Expert from Edumax Success gurus, Vijay Singh Rana had an interaction with the students and briefed them about the programme to be covered in next 10-days.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the College, Prof Satinder Singh said the basic aim of organizing such seminars is to enlighten the students with the new ways of enriching and enhancing their communication skills. He also appreciated the efforts of BCA Department especially its HoD Prof Parveen Singh for taking such initiatives.
Prof Parshotam Singh, Prof Varun Manhas, Prof Ashish Gupta and Prof Ravleen Singh were also present on the occasion.
Prof Madhurika Gupta, Prof Varun and Prof Aashish Co-ordinated the whole Programme.
