JAMMU, Apr 28: A workshop to aware doctors and paramedical staff about disposal of bio-medical waste was held at 166 Military Hospital, Satwari Cantonment, Jammu under HQ 16 Corps, HQ Northern Command.
The workshop was attended by 35 participants who came from various parts of the country. The coordinator of the event was a Pathologist, Lt Col Alpana Gupta.
There was an onsite demonstration and lectures by Microbiologist, Major Sudhir Dubey, Col AS Kushwaha and even Ajay Mehta, Mechanical Engineer from ASCOMS Hospital, Jammu.
The conference ended with a quiz and a closing address by Col Tilak Bose, Senior Registrar of the hospital. The conference generated positive feedback and participants suggested that more such workshops should be held.
