JAMMU, July 11: Upholding the theory of Multiple Intelligences by Dr. Homard Gardiner and keeping in mind its benefits, KCIS has invited two resource persons from Riverside School, Ahmedabad and conducted a workshop, here.
The staff of KCIS got an in-depth knowledge about the light Multiple Intelligence present in a child, which can be explored to bring out the best in the child.
Nandini Parekh and Hetal Jariwala were the resource persons.
On day one they covered the theory at Multiple Intelligences and made real life connections with the videos. The students were seen working in these videos on the skills mentioned above. There were also many activities which gave hands on experience to the teachers.
The sessions was kept interesting and the participants were kept enthusiastic by weaving energizers throughout the day. These energizers are also very useful in the classrooms to keep the students focused.
On the second day of the workshop the teachers reviewed their curriculum and planned it by interweaving the new skills that they had acquired.
The teachers of the Primary Department attended the workshops.
The Principal, Maya Mishra stressed that redefining education through such integrated activities to reach the learning objective was the need of the hour.
Headmistress, Kesar Patgel presented the vote of thanks on the occasion.
