JAMMU, Oct 4: In collaboration with Gandhi Peace Foundation, Satchel organized a workshop on the relevance of Gandhian Philosophy, here.
The workshop, which began with the recitation of poems and prayers highlighting the importance of universal peace and brotherhood, was coordinated by Dr Seema Rohmetra.
Samiksha Sahni and Diksha Wali spoke on the life of Dr Luther and his contribution to abolish the distressing racial discrimination in United States of America, during next session of the workshop which was dedicated to legendary Luther.
Akhil Sharma gave pictorial presentation on Gandhiji’s days in Africa, while Ahana Sadhoo, student of BSF School Paloura presented a paper on the influence of Gandhiji’s teachings on Martin Luther.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Sneha Dhar, Vineet Gupta, Anchal, Vishal Badgal, Rajat and Surbhi Raina.
RK Mahaldar, patron of Satchel also spoke on the occasion, while the programme was coordinated by KV Student, Akansha Tickoo.
Gandhiji’s popular Bhajan ‘Raghupati Raghav Rajaram’ was sung to conclude the programme.
