JAMMU, Sept 27: One-day workshop on ‘taping and wrapping’ techniques was organised at Jammu College of Physiotheraphy, here today.
The workshop was conducted by Dr Mithilesh Kumar, faculty, Department of Physiotherapy, Punjabi University, Patiala, wherein he discussed upon various principals of taping and wrapping techniques and their utility in sports, medicine and orthopedics during first session. In the second session, he practically demonstrated taping and wrapping techniques in various clinical conditions.
Earlier, principal, Phys-iotherapy College, Dr Navinderpal, welcomed Dr Mithilesh and stressed upon the need for conduct of such workshops for making student aware of various techniques, which are important part of clinical practice throughout the world. He expressed his gratitude towards Dr Mithilesh for having agreed upon to conduct such workshop.
Ritesh Sharma, trustee, Shri Sain Charitable Trust for Higher Education and Research, was also present on the occasion and presented memento to Dr Mithilesh and lauded his effort for imparting the precious knowledge among students.
