JAMMU, Nov 14: World Champion Tajamu Islam was accorded warm reception by the sports fraternity, besides politicians and her admirers after returning back from World Kickboxing Championship held at Italy recently.
Young Tajamu, ageing below eight years won gold medal in sub junior category and became World Champion in the mega event held from November 4 to November 11, 2016.
She was received by a large number of people including dignitaries at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi today.
It may be recalled that by winning this Championship, Tajamu became the first girl from India to be the World Champion.
