Wrestler Jakker of J&K lifts 6th Ser Sundwan Dangal Title

Katra, Sept 14: Wrestler Jakker of Sarore, Jammu clinched  6th Annual Ser Sundwan Kesari Dangal Title 2015, defeating Wrestler Dalbir of Danga Bhagan, Reasi for the main first malli bout. Dangal was organized at Government High School Ser Sundwan in Tehsil Bhamag and District Reasi.
Dangal was organized by Ser Sundwan Dangal Committee in association with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association under the overall supervision of President J&K Indian style Wrestling Association Shiv Kumar Sharma and president of Ser Sundwan Dangal Committee Headmaster Dhani Ram.
Joint Secretary J&K State Sports Council Jammu, Shiv Kumar Sharma who is also treasurer Indian style Wrestling Association of India was the chief guest on the occasion who distributed cash prizes among winners and runner-up Wrestlers. Social Activist Saraf Singh Nag Ex. K.A.S presided over the function. Secretary General Indian Style Wrestling Association of India Roshan Lal of Delhi and Sarpanch Kapoor Singh were the guests of honour.
Around 78 bouts were played and around 154 Wrestlers from within and outside the State including Punjab and  U.P participated.
Winner of Ist malli bout Jakker was awarded with cash prize of Rs 6,000 by Shiv Kumar Sharma, Saraf Singh, while runner-up wrestler Dalbir was awarded a cash prize of Rs 5,000 by Sarpanch Kapoor Singh, Headmaster Dhani Ram and Teacher Bachitter Singh.
