UDHAMPUR, June 7: Asia Junior Silver Medalist Wrestler Satinder of Air Force crushed Wrestler Abdul Gani of Mallerkotla, Punjab and lifted title trophy of 7th Battal Ballian Kesari Dangal Competition, organized by Pir Baba Dangal Committee Battal Ballian in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association at Battal, in District Udhampur.
On the occasion, Minister of State for Finance and IT Pawan Gupta was the chief guest, whereas DySP Headquarters Gourav Mahajan, SHO Udhampur Arjun Singh Chib, president, J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Shiv Kumar Sharma, president of Dangal Committee Deep Singh, patwari Parsotam Singh, sarpanch Rehmat, Colonel Balwant Singh and sports lovers were also present.
The first main bout winner Wrestler Satinder was awarded cash prize of Rs 41,000 along with title of Battal Ballian Kesari by Minister, whereas runner-up Abdul Gani was presented a cash prize of Rs 30,000.
OTHER RESULTS: Chinni of Banaras, UP beat Asraf of Lallerkotla, Punjab, Kalu of Bishnah smashed Sadiq Ali of Bishnah, Tinku of Rohtak crushed Zaker of Sarore, Dinu of Kathua defeated Raman Kumar of Chandigarh, Bobari of Sarore smashed Sunny of Rohtak, Amir Khan of Bajrangi Akhara defeated Muskeen of Ramnagar, Sheru of Ghazibad beat Billu of Kot Bhawal, Babba of Kot Bhawal crushed Tinku of Rohtak, Dillar Khan of J&K Police outplayed Gopal Sharma of Jindrah, Akram of Bajrangi Akhara crushed Babu Deen of Ramnagar.
The bouts played between Ajay Sharma of Udhampur and Nisar Ahmed Doda, Kaka of RS Pura and Farooq of Sarore and Roshan Lal Sharma of J&K Police and Lallu of Bajrangi Akhara Jammu ended in a draw.
