JAMMU, Oct 11: Wrestling Association of J&K has conducted selection trials for the 37th National Games scheduled to be held at Goa from October 26 to November 9.
Dushyant Sharma, former International Wrestler and First Gold Medal Winner for J&K in National Games held at Puna, Maharashtra in 1994 was the chief guest on this occasion. Following are the wrestlers selected in different weight categories: In women category Sanjana Sharma (50 kg) while in men’s category Anil Singh category (57 kg free style), 67 kg Greeco Roman, Netar Singh, 74 kg freestyle Jarnail Singh, 97 kg Greeco Roman Sahil Sharma, 125 kg freestyle Ishaq Ahmed and 130 kg Greeco Roman Daler Khan. Jai Bharat and Ravinder Kumar accompany the team as Coach and Manager respectively.
