JAMMU, Feb 15: J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Shiv Kumar Sharma and decided to hold selection trials of wrestlers for Indian Style Wrestling Championship and Mahan Bharat Kesari on February 17, 2013 at Dewan Mandir Akhara, Kacchi Chawni, here.
Sharma said that the weight category for senior national men is 51 kg, 55 kg, 60 kg, 66 kg, 74 kg, 84 kg, 96 kg and + 96kg up to 130kg.
He said two wrestlers can take part in Mahan Bharat Kesari Tittle bout, adding the bout will be above 82kg up to 130kg.
He said the selected wrestlers will participate in the forthcoming All India Invitational Indian Style Wrestling Championship and Mahan Bharat Kesari 2013 at Gorkhpur in Uttar Pradesh to be held from February 28, 2013 to March 3, 2013.

Others who attended the meeting included Prem Choudhary, Inderjeet Khajuria, Rakesh Khajuria, Sadar Khan, Bansi Lal Tidyal, Mulkh Raj Sharma and Prem Kumar.
According to the organizers, the prize money for Mahan Bharat Kesari will be Rs 1,00,000, Rs 50,000, Rs 25,000 and Rs 25,000 for first, second, third and fourth place, while for Individual weight categories (8 weights each), the prize money will be Rs 15,000, Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively.
