Wushu Asso members meet Union Sports Minister at Delhi

JAMMU, June 30: Along with other key members of the Association, Jatinder Singh Bajwa, president of the Wushu Association of India, met with Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister for Sports, and briefed him on the game.
The Union Sports Minister met with the Indian Wushu Association, led by President Jatinder Singh Bajwa, in Delhi. Other association members in attendance included General Secretary Vijay Saraf and Executive Members Sohail and Sudershan.
The Association’s President expressed gratitude to the Union Minister for supporting the Wushu Game, which has helped to put India on the map internationally. The President gave the Union Minister a memento and gave him a comprehensive overview of the Wushu Association of India.
The Minister was also briefed by Vijay Saraf, the president of the Jammu and Kashmir Wushu Association and general secretary of the Wushu Association of India, regarding the efforts made thus far to promote this game at the sub junior, junior and senior levels of competition.
The suggestions and demands made by the Association members were patiently heard by the Union Minister. Additionally, the Union Minister expressed his desire to participate in any upcoming Wushu Game events held in the J&K.
