Wushu coach Handoo, 3 J&K players to represent India in Pars Cup

JAMMU, Apr 7: The trio of ace Wushu players namely Surya Bhanu Partap, Arun Singh and Rajinder Singh, alongwith coach Kuldeep Handoo have been selected for the India Camp at SAI Bhopal from April 5 to April 12, 2017.
The selection was based on the outstanding performance of the J&K State in the recently held 25th Senior National Wushu Championship held at Ranchi in which J&K emerged 2nd runners-up.
The selected players secured gold medals in the National Championships, while the coach is the chief coach of India.
Yogesh Sawhney, Former Minister and Patron of Wushu Association of J&K congratulated the selected players and coach for their selection in 6th Pars Cup at Iran from 13th to 17th April 2017. Ranjeet Kalra, Member Sports Council and Vice President of the Association was also pressnt on the occasion.
According to General Secretary of the Association, this event is a building competition for the main event of 14th World Wushu Championship to be held in Russia later this year.
